Paul Daley (C) Fight Channel

On Friday Final Fight Championships 12 (FFC 12) will go down in Slovenia. The main event of the evening features recently-signed by K-1 fighter Paul "Semtex" Daley against Miran Fabjan. There were heated words from Daley and Fabjan at each other in the lead up to the event at the official press conference.

"Of course, I watch footage of all my opponents and I was kind of familiar with Miran because he fought one of the guys I fought earlier this year... Alexander Stetsurenko, something like that. Tough Russian guy. Doesn't matter what his name was 'cuz je got knocked out in thirty seconds“, said Daley.

"They call him (Miran Fabjan) the Slovenian Rocky. Rocky is a movie. This is reality. Friday you gonna see what will happen. Friday is reality! No film! No Adrian! Rocky, this ain't a film! This is reality and you will find that out! Trust me. Slovenian Rocky in not a good name to have. Rocky always get f*** up.“, Paul Said.

Miran replied: "He said he doesn't mind taking punches, but I saw the video. He's a really good fighter in attacking mode, but when you get punched in the face, you don't like it! I saw it! When you hit me, I do not care!“

Paul added: "He (Miran) could not beat any of the guys I spar with! You're not even better than my sparring partners! You're not even better than my students! How about that?! You're no better than my students! You're gonna look like an amateur Friday!“

Badr Hari

We've been hearing about this Badr Hari book for a while now, now we get to see what it looks like in print. Hell, we get to see Badr Hari holding the Badr Hari book standing in front of the Badr Hari book poster. It's Badr Hari-ception, actually. If you speak Dutch it seems like this is a must-have for Kickboxing fans. If you don't speak Dutch, then, well, it's probably not a must-own unless you are a die hard Badr Hari fan and just want to stare lovingly at it.

GLORY 17

Damn.

So GLORY 17 and GLORY Last Man Standing -- okay, first of all, I'm not going to refer to them as different shows, because they are on the same night -- so, GLORY 17, is a really huge event. GLORY 17 at the Forum in Los Angeles is going to feature a whole lot of talent. As you can see from that graphic above, the fight that we all wanted to see between Andy Ristie and Ky Hollenbeck is finally going down! By the looks of it, this fight will be on the Spike TV card for free, which is great. It will serve as the Main Event for GLORY 17 on Spike TV.

The other big news is that GLORY has secured the final two names for the GLORY Last Man Standing Middleweight Championship Tournament. Those names are Filip Verlinden and Artem Levin. Levin was the lone holdout and was just announced on Tuesday. Oh Artem.

Paul Daley

Today we got word from K-1 Global that they were going to be announcing a huge signing. As we saw in the past with their signing of Buakaw Banchamek, when they say that they've signed someone big, they usually mean it. This time was no different, as they announced today that former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Paul Daley. Paul Daley has been focusing on Kickboxing thus far in 2014, with three Kickboxing fights and three knockouts under his belt.

These knockouts aren't just against local boys, either. Two of those knockouts are against big names in Kickboxing, one was Alexander Stetsurenko, the other against Alexander Surzkho at LEGEND 3: Pour Homme. So needless to say, this guy has looked super impressive in Kickboxing and there has been a lot of speculation about him making the move into either K-1 or GLORY. This is a huge win for K-1 in this case, because Paul Daley has chosen to go with the most recognized name in the sport of Kickboxing by the way of K-1.

Daley will be fighting at 80kg (about 176lbs) and will make his debut for K-1 in their July outing in Thailand, which will be the K-1 World MAX Finals featuring Buakaw Banchamek vs. Enriko Kehl. Paul Daley will be fighting next on April 25th in Slovenia at FFC12 against Miran Fabjan.

Gokhan Saki

GLORY packed an arena in Istanbul, Turkey at GLORY 15 Istanbul, with passionate fans who wanted to see their hometown hero take home the gold. They got just that when Gokhan Saki won the GLORY Light Heavyweight Championship. So let's take a look back at what was GLORY 15 with their super-passionate Turkish crowd. It's great to see Saki celebrating backstage after winning the championship, for sure.

Glory

For those who will be attending GLORY 17 Los Angeles you will be in for quite a night. According to a new interview that GLORY CEO Andrew Whitaker did with MMAMania, we can expect the same quality of programming from GLORY on Spike TV for the near future. They are insistent that their PPV aspirations will not detract from GLORY's Spike TV product one bit. That means that they still plan on holding a one-night, four-man tournament, which has been their focus on Spike TV thus far.

That means that there will be two tournaments in one night and while they have yet to announce which weight class will be featured during the Spike TV portion of GLORY 17, we do know that there will be a Middleweight Champion crowned during "Last Man Standing." From the rumors that we've heard, GLORY might be planning on crowning up to three champions in that one evening, with one being Middleweight and the other two have yet to be disclosed.

We'll keep you apprised of what to expect from GLORY 17 in the coming weeks.
