class="gkFeaturedItemTitle" Fight Video: Buakaw Banchamek vs. Rustem Zaripov

Last night was a big night for Buakaw, who not only fought for the first time in a long time outside of the Por. Pramuk Gym after a giant struggle with his former home camp. Buakaw still used the Por. Pramuk name for this fight, as he probably was required to in order to fight. This was his re-debut of sorts and it was an emotional affair. Included are the intros, full fight and post-fight speech.

To watch the rest of the event, they can be found here.

As we posted yesterday, Nathan Corbett defended his WKN World Title yesterday against Stephane Susperregui from France. It wasn't easy at all though, as Stephane put up a spirited effort. Corbett was already cut and had a swelled eye just in the first round, something not many people have been able to do. TheWebShow channel on Youtube has always had behind he scenes and fight videos of Nathan Corbett fights and highlights of the Corbett vs. Susperregui are now up, and the fight is pretty action packed. Check it out.

class="gkFeaturedItemTitle" Video: Peter Aerts Oil Wrestled On Japanese TV Yesterday

It seems that Peter Aerts is in Japan a lot these days, especially for IGF pro wrestling-related things. Well yesterday he made an appearance on a Japanese TV show and none other than Antonio Inoki was also there. Japanese comedian Shingo Fujimori tried to take down Peter and had no success at all, being met with the "hard punch" that he asked for. Start watching around 13:00 in the video to see Peter Aerts but the whole thing is pretty funny despite the language barrier.

class="gkFeaturedItemTitle" Bogdan Stoica Gets Quick 8 Second High Kick KO Yesterday

Bogdan Stoica returned to the ring yesterday in his first fight since November. It wasn't the typical SuperKombat event, as it was a new series called "The Bodyguard - Forte Speciale" that pitted bodyguards, special forces members and the like against each other in a tournament format to determine who will be one of the next stars of Eduard Irimia's Local Kombat/SuperKombat promotion. Daniel Ghita had actually come from one of those units, as he used to be a part of the Romanian secret service.

Aside from the special bodyguard series, Bogdan Stoica and Benny Adegbuyi, two stars of SuperKombat returned to the ring and both crushed their opponents. Bogdan only need eight seconds to finish his opponent with a high kick and we have video of it. Check it out.
