  • Written by Rian Scalia

The MuayThai Premier League announced today that due to scheduling conflicts, Saenchai Sinbimuaythai would be out of the league format. His replacement will be none other than Saiyok Pumpanmuang. The MPL did mention though that Saenchai will still fight in Super Fights, just he's out of the league format.

Here's the official news release, from MPL's Facebook:

Changes to the MPL Roster...

Due to scheduling conflicts with his many upcoming fights, Saenchai SinbiMuayThai of Thailand has been withdrawn from the League portion of the MPL. We are extremely disappointed by this news. However, fans will still be able to see Saenchai at our events as he will be scheduled for Superfights. His first appearance will be on the Second MPL event. His replacement in the League will be Saiyok Pumpanmuang.

Thank you,

The addition of Saiyok Pumpanmuang now brings the MPL's roster at Welterweight (147lbs/66.67kg) to:

Andrei Kulebin

Denis Schneidmiller

Kevin Ross

Liam Harrison

Mehdi Zatout

Mohammed Khamal

Saiyok Pumpanmuang

There will be one more fighter added to the division, as Australia's Kurt Finlayson has had to withdraw because of an injury. The MPL is currently working on a replacement.
