Badr

Badr Hari's legal troubles have been the talk of the last few years, turning what was the most promising Kickboxing career into a circus sideshow. Badr Hari was just seconds away from being the best Heavyweight Kickboxer in the world multiple times, but something was brewing inside of him that would ensure that his Kickboxing career would get derailed in a big way; his temper. Badr Hari and assault were not uncommon, but the latest case about an assault on Koen Everink was enough to finally get everyone's attention.

Badr Hari spent seven months in prison already due to the case and it has plagued his last few years, making his career the means to pay for his legal fees, being very secondary to his courtroom worries. Today was Badr Hari's sentencing in the Netherlands and it looks like, at least in part, justice was served in the case as Badr Hari was sentenced to serve 18 months in prison, six suspended. Due to him already serving seven months in the lead up to the case this means that Badr Hari will have to serve at least five months of this sentence.

As for if he'll serve the sentence, that is another thing. There are already talks of appeals in the process and that Badr Hari won't serve his prison sentence just yet due to the immediate appeal being filed. So Badr will have his day in court yet again in the near future.
