Karaev

Look, there aren't many fighters out there that can take some time away from the ring and when they announce their return people get legitimately excited over. But then, there aren't many guys who are named Ruslan Karaev and are as exciting in the ring as he is. It's really difficult to explain the magnetism that Karaev possesses or why there are so many fans who are such huge Ruslan Karaev fans, but his return to the ring truly feels like a big deal.

Ruslan Karaev cut his teeth on the K-1 circuit for years, being an undersized Heavyweight who still held his own against all of the greats. His most notable fights were his ones against Badr Hari, with one of Badr's few losses being to Karaev before they had a few dramatic rematches. Karaev was known to be a part of the Golden Glory stable, which was in part why he was away from the ring for so long, as he did indeed suffer a bad knee injury, but also had a falling out with Golden Glory which kept him away from competition for a while. Now, finally, someone has found him and convinced him to return to the ring. KOK, based out of Moldova, will house Ruslan Karaev for his return bout and it is something of a big win for them.

Hell, this promo video that they released of Karaev is nothing short of amazing. I'm not kidding, it is really awesome.
