Yuta Kubo and Masaaki Noiri recently met in the finals of the first 65kg eight man tournament in GLORY, at GLORY 8 Tokyo on May 3. Kubo won a decision, in a fight that was plagued by a low blow after Noiri had already suffered on earlier in the event against Liam Harrison. It was the second time the two had fought, with Kubo having won their first encounter back in 2011.
Kubo and Noiri will fight for the third time, at Krush.32 on September 1 in Nagoya, Japan. This fight though will take place at the highest weight that the two will have fought each other, at 67kg and Yuta Kubo's 67kg Krush title that he won in January will be on the line. Their first fight was at 63kg, and their second fight, as aforementioned, was at 65kg.
So far the card also has two other fights set. At 70kg, Yoshihiro Sato looks to extend his win streak to four, against Shintaro Matsukura. At 55kg, Shota Takiya takes on Ryuma Tobe.
