GloryAs soon as I saw this pop into my inbox I knew that we were in for something good, as Glory is set to return to Japan for GLORY 8 Tokyo on May 3rd. The event will take place in the more modest Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo which houses 10,000 fans and should be a great venue for the proposed Featherweight tournament. The Featherweight Slam will be a classic, one-night, eight-man, single-elimination Kickboxing tournament and already has a few incredible names announced.

If you don't believe me, the names already announced for this tournament are as follows; America's Kevin Ross, Mosab Amrani, Marcos Vinicius of Brazil, Abdellah Ezbiri and the winner of March 10's Road to GLORY Japan tournament. The stakes for this tournament are high, with the winner taking home $100,000 and $80,000 spread out for the runners-up. This will mark Kevin Ross's GLORY debut and one of his biggest appearances in Kickboxing to date. Tickets go on sale on March 1st for those that are interested.
