A big card is going down in Tours, France this Saturday, February 2. La Nuit des Titans is back with another big name fight card, which includes a one night tournament.
The tournament takes place at 72.5kg under Muay Thai rules and the four participants are Aikpracha Meenayothin, Yohan Lidon, Yury Bessmertny and Karim Ghajji. Aikpracha, who just fought less than a week ago at Yokkao Extreme, faces Yury Bessmertny on one side of the bracket while Yohan Lidon and Karim Ghajji will fight for the third time in the other semi final. Despite fighting on Saturday, Aikpracha is without a doubt the favorite here. Also, the rubber match between Karim Ghajji and Yohan Lidon has its own twist, having steadily grown into a grudge match. This will be the first time that Ghajji and Lidon have fought each other under Muay Thai rules as well.
Fabio Pinca is also on the card, fighting a Thai by the name of Yakdam at 68kg. That's all the info there is on Pinca's opponent, aside from that he's apparently an aggressive fighter that throws punches.
Also at 68kg will be Aziz Hlali once again stepping up a bit in weight to fight Super X. Super X has been fighting internationally a lot in the past year, but mostly from 70-72.5kg. He's definitely the bigger fighter, with a huge height advantage. Hlali is a very promising fighter and beat handed Bobo Sacko his first loss in his last outing.
There's one last Thailand vs. France match-up and it takes place at 73kg, with Issam Reghi fighting Dernchonlek Sor. Sor. Niyom. It's a very tough fight for Reghi, whose teammate Yohan Lidon lost to Dernchonlek in June.
