The biggest international event of the year to date is upon us, as Yokkao returns to put on Yokkao Extreme 2013 in Milan, Italy. The event will be streamed live on yokkao.com for $20 on this Saturday, January 26 at 20:00 GMT +1 or 2:00PM ET/11:00AM PT in North America.

In the main event is a K-1 rules bout between kickboxing legend Andy Souwer and the grizzled veteran Dzhabar Askerov. The style match-up makes for what should be a non stop, action packed fight at 70kg.

The real meat of the event is in Muay Thai, where a number of formidable Thais are featured. In particular, one of the best Muay Thai fighters in the world (and one of the best of all time), Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym is back and he'll take on Diesellek Aoodonmuang. Saenchai and Diesellek haven't fought before and it's quite an interesting match-up. Saenchai has been so active lately, fighting very often and comes off a loss to Singdam Kiatmoo9 on January 4. Diesellek is young and 2012 was where he really made a name for himself with numerous stoppage wins and a big win in a rematch against Damien Alamos. This fight is the lone five round fight on the card and it certainly deserves to be.

A series of 70kg Muay Thai fights are also taking place, started off by Aikpracha Meenayothin taking on Australia's Frank Giorgi. Giorgi is one of the best possible farang opponents for Aikpracha and is no slouch.

Another 70kg fight is Kem Sitsongpeenong vs. Jordan Watson. They're both coming off losses to very strong fighters, Kem to Yodsanklai Fairtex and Watson to Aikpracha, but this is still a pretty interesting match-up. I like Watson's chances here and he has a chance to get a big win.

Also at 70kg is a rematch between Sudsakorn Sor. Klinmee and Mickael Piscitello. Piscitello defeated Sudsakorn via TKO due to a cut back at Thai Fight in September. Piscitello definitely wasn't out of his depth there and now with Sudsakorn wanting to avenge that loss, this fight could be emphatic.

At 65kg we have two fights. Houcine Bennoui fights Yokkao's Imwiset Pornnarai and Yokkao Selections winner Angelo Campoli fights Tham Sityodtong.
