As we posted about previously, Lion Fight will start to air on AXS TV on January 25 with Lion Fight 8, which takes place at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas.

Today Lion Fight announced that Yodsanklai Fairtex vs. Gregory Choplin will headline its debut on AXS TV at Lion Fight 8. This is Yodsanklai's first fight in the United States, while Choplin lives in the US now. Choplin is 2-1 in the US, with wins over Chaz Mulkey and Joseph Valtellini this year and a loss to Ky Hollenbeck in 2011.

For Lion Fight's debut on TV, this is a big fight. Yodsanklai is still a one of the marquee names on the international Muay Thai scene. First, he'll be fighting Kem Sitsongpeenong on December 30 in Pattaya, Thailand.

Also on the card is a women's bout between America's Tiffany van Soest and England's Alexis Rufus, which will serve as the co-main event.
