If you are curious where the biggest Kickboxing promotion in the world stands right now, this might help provide some idea as to how Glory is viewed by the non-hardcore Kickboxing public. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, run by Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez has been around for a very long time, starting out as simply a sounding board for everything and anything professional wrestling. Over the years Meltzer has shifted to covering fight sports more and more, to the point where his newsletter and news is pretty split between the UFC and WWE coverage.

So one of the latest WON polls asked the question; Which promotion do you find most interesting right now? The top promotions are pretty much what you'd expect from the audience, but surprisingly enough, there was some Kickboxing represented on the list, although it is the lowest one on the list and only accounted for 0.5%, tying with Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan, who have all-but fallen off the map for pro wrestling in Japan.

WWE came in a 29.8%, UFC at 22.1%, New Japan Pro Wrestling at 18.9%, TNA at 16% and then there is a rather steep dropoff.

What is interesting is that Glory made the list, yet K-1 did not. While those numbers aren't fantastic for Glory, at least their name is somewhat being mentioned, right? As for K-1, that is pretty rough.
