So if most people were betting on someone failing a drug test going into UFC 175 between Vitor Belfort and Chael Sonnen, the smart money was on Vitor. So consider the shock today when it turns out that Chael Sonnen has failed a random drug test by the NSAC and will be pulled from UFC 175.
According to ESPN he was tested randomly last month at a UFC press event where he tested positive for two banned substances, Anastrozole and Clomiphene. He will most likely receive a suspension and will not appeal that suspension. He is supposed to address the media later on today and we'll keep you posted on that.
Artem Levin is one of those guys that when you mention his name, people who know Kickboxing have a full understanding that he's one of the best in the world and that when it comes down to it on June 21st, Levin is going to be one of the favorites in this tournament. He's run roughshod over the weight range for years in Muay Thai and Kickboxing and during his reign there have only been two men to ever defeat him; Simon Marcus and Joe Schilling. You'd have to think that Levin would be looking for revenge against either man, but will be happy no matter what with a win.
Of course, Alex Peireira has proven himself and maybe the world is overlooking him.
Yokkao 8 happened on March 8th in the UK and the most frustrating thing about it was seeing a long line of UK fighters, personalities and fans talking about how incredible the event was without being able to watch it. Thankfully Yokkao has uploaded the most-talked about fight from Yokkao 8, Liam Harrison vs. Houcine Bennoui. This fight was nonstop action with both men putting it all on the line against each other, neither man could feel even a bit of shame over their performance.
Of course, fans in the UK felt that Liam won and fans in France have been saying that they thought that Houcine won. Now you get to decide for yourself and watch.
