Video: Robin Van Roosmalen vs. Steve Moxon for Happy Hearts Fund.

We had been waiting to see this video of Glory lightweight champion Robin van Roosmalen vs "Stone Cold" Steve Moxon which took place on June 3rd in New York. This was a charity black tie event for the Happy Hearts Fund, as you can see by the poster the co-main event featured Pierre Andurand, one of Glory's biggest shareholders. I personally think its really great of Pierre to get in the ring and try at least one fight, it really shows that he is a huge kickboxing fan and just an overall good guy, maybe we will get to see that video soon.

Van Roosmalen vs Moxon was a much more competitive fight than I had anticipated considering Moxon has been a little bit off his game lately. Moxon fought really well and showed great head movement and footwork avoiding Robin's hooks early. Eventually Robin started with the leg kicks and that's when the tide changed in the Glory champions favor. This was just a very fun fight to watch with two very similar style fighters.

VIDEO: Buakaw vs. Yi Long From WLF

This weekend WLF ran what they had been billing as the fight of the century. No, not Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather (although they did promote it as on part with that), but instead Buakaw Banchamek vs. Yi Long. It was muay thai legend vs. kung fu legend and of course, only in China. China has seen a steady rise in interest in kickboxing over the past few years, helped in part by Wu Lin Feng, K-1 and Kunlun airing on national television there.

So this fight happened and I dunno, take from it what you will.

Video: Buakaw Banchamek vs Yan Bin

Buakaw Banchamek successfully defended his WMC world title last night against a surprisingly tough Yan Bin from China. I figured this would be just like most recent Buakaw fights where he just makes a fool of his opponents but Yan Bin did not come to lose. He landed some shots that surprised Buakaw and even swept him which I don't think I've seen for years. To be fair though Yan Bin has a very erratic style which I'd imagine would give anyone problems, not to mention he got kicked in the head multiple times which seemed to have no effect.

Here is the video, let us know what you think, enjoy.

Video: Jerome Le Banner's First Fight of His Retirement Tour

When reflecting upon the golden days of K-1 in Japan it's hard not to think of the names of the fighters that made K-1 so special. We have reached a point where a lot of those fighters are winding down their careers and Jerome Le Banner is one of them. This past weekend he fought the first of his three retirement bouts of his retirement tour where he fought Claudiu Istrate.

Check out the fight here.

We'll have more on Jerome Le Banner's retirement tour as it is available.

VIDEO: Tyrone Spong Successful in Boxing Debut with Vicious KO

Well, that was quick.

Tyrone Spong made his professional Boxing debut today in Germany against, well, some guy. His opponent was Gabor Farkas who has had 41 professional boxing fights before tonight and had won seven of those. You do the math. He was no match for the King of the Ring, though, with the fight ending pretty quickly with a vicious knockout.

Video: Andy Souwer vs Hideya Tanaka

On February 11, 2015 Andy Souwer fought Hideya Tanaka on the No Kick No Life event in Japan.

It seems to me that Souwer doesn't age, in fact recently hes looking more like the Andy that won K-1 Max years ago. This head kick KO of Tanaka is so perfect it even surprised me watching, I can't imagine how Tanaka felt. Andy has a full schedule of fights for 2015, and he couldn't have asked for a better start than this.

VIDEO: Enriko Kehl vs. Erkan Varol and Zabit Samedov vs. Merit Arkan

K-1 World MAX Champion Enriko Kehl has been keeping busy while he is set for a showdown with the legendary Giorgio Petrosyan in just a matter of weeks now. Earlier this year Petrosyan fought Erkan Varol, picking up a victory over Varol. Now Kehl has gone and done the same thing, this being a rematch between the two. They met this weekend in Turkey and Kehl looked confident in the fight. Of course, the test of Petrosyan is a big one for the young fighter, but hopefully he'll be ready come April 11th.

Also on the card was the man who knocked Badr Hari out, Zabit Samedov. Samedov fought Merit Arkan.

Video: Israel Adesanya vs. Kim Loudon

Luckily the Knees of Fury promotion has most of their fights on to Youtube shortly after the event so we were able to watch Adesanya's last fight. Now I personally have not seen a full fight (only clips) of his since he fought Verlinden at Glory 15. I know he's been doing some professional Boxing with the Super 8 tournaments and feel it showed in this fight, his boxing and head movement looked amazing, but I felt he was actually looking too much like a boxer at some points. I'd like to see him back in Kickboxing or Muay Thai fights more often just to get that kicking groove back. Otherwise he demolished Kim Loudon and stopped him in the 3rd with some nasty looking elbows that looked as though they could have been stopped sooner. Israel standing in the middle of the ring instead of going to his corner between the 1st and 2nd round made me laugh pretty hard.
